The Mission and Story of Protect and Care Ministries

Antony Arokiaraj (Raj) was born in Bangalore India and at the age of 5 was placed in the YMCA boys home by his mother who was abandoned by his Father. She could not care for him on her own so she worked at the YMCA to pay for his tuition. Raj was raised as a Christian and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior during his 10 year stay at the home.
As a minister and Man of God, Raj has received a calling to build a boy’s home much like the one he grew up in and has a burden for boys in the same situation. He and his family, wife Roslyn, daughter Gladys and daughter Felicia, have opened their home to the boys in the ministry, currently 17 in all. Each member of the Raj family actively participates in the affairs of the ministry.
